The shooting tragedy in New Zealand started from game online “PUBG”

A new fatwa regarding the ban on online games especially "PUBG" reappeared due to a shooting case in New Zealand

"I'm sure this game has been planned intentionally for a long time," he said, citing a report on the New Straits Times on Tuesday (03/19/2019).

“The purpose is to create the younger generation's mindset so that they enjoyed the war, to fight and enjoyed inhuman activities,” He added.

"The government must pay attention because the game is now included as part of esports," he said.

“It is not impossible that firearms can be easily accessed one day, think about the consequences if PUBG is part of our young people’s lives,” he added.

“World leaders were people who created Islamophobia... If the people (world leaders) above hate Islam, it is not suprising if that the people bellow them will follow him,” he explained.

The sentences above is the quote that I took from the site that I found on Internet, and I disagree with some goverment's decision which want to ban PUBG or the other game online. I am not one of the people who play PUBG. But, many of my friends played the game and they still think sane. I mean, because there was one shooting tragedy that happen in New Zealand and took the name of PUBG so that the government blame PUBG party, which even the government has not yet known the truth about is, PUBG affect the shooter to do shooting act in real life. It does not rule out the possibility that many other reason which push the shooter to do the shooting. Like business competition for example, because as we know online games are being in great demand by everyone today, especially young people. And game makers must compete to attract people to play their game, and so many new games come to the business or old games that can success to attract people back to play the game with thair innovation and variation, competition becomes increasingly difficult, and there are still many other possibilitiee that cause the shooter do the act.

Debating Candidates of President 2019 - 2024

The Differences Opinion from Candidates and Their Comparison

A. Introduction

The two candidates squaring off for Indonesia’s top seat, for the first time in a televised debate as a campaigning gathers pace for April’s election. President Joko Widodo, better known as Jokowi is bidding for a second term in office against Prabowo Subianto, a controversial former general with a poor human rights record, in what is almost a rematch of the 2014 campaign.

The candidates have been given the questions – focusing on law, human rights, terrorism and corruption – in advance amid concerns that the two men might escape having to address more controversial issues such as human rights abuse in Papua, in the far east of the Indonesian archipelago.

Analysis hope the debate will help clarify each candidate’s vision for the country ahead of the April 17 polls and put real campaign issues on the table.

Who are the candidates?

A former furniture salesman and Jakarta governor with a passion for heavy metal music, Jokowi, 57, has affiliated with the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P).
In 2014, he became Indonesia’s first president without links to the military or the political or religious elite. But, while his “ordinary man” image inspired many Indonesians, some analysts say he has proved less impressive as a leader.

Jokowi’s rival, 67-year-old Prabowo Subianto, trades on his strongman image and has affiliated with the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra). Prabowo served in military from 1974 to 1998, before being discharged after he was accused of human rights violations in relation to coordinating riots in 1998 in which more than one thousand people died, as well as the murders of pro-independence activists in Timor-Leste during the Indonesian occupation from 1975 until 1999. He has denied the allegations.

Running mates

Jokowi’s choice for vice president, Ma’ruf Amin, 75, is the head of Indonesia’s top Muslim clerical body, the Indonesian Council of Religious Scholars (MUI). In recent years, Amin has overseen fatwa, a general decree in Islam by a religious authority, on a range of controversial topics including support for female genital mutilation and a call for those caught committing same-sex acts to be sentenced to death. In a 2018 interview, Amin described being LGBT as a “violation”.

Prabowo’s vice president running mate is Sandiaga Uno, 49, the former deputy-governor of Jakarta. A prominent Indonesian businessman, there has been speculation that Uno was chosen for his ability to find the presidential campaign rather than his political insight, given that he’s relative newcomer on the Indonesian political stage.

B. Vision and Mission of Candidates

Candidate number 01 (Advanced Indonesia)

Offering optimism and an equitable future for Indonesia. I believe that Indonesia will be more progressive than before, more democratic and modern a country so law enforcement and human rights (HAM) will be better not only politic and civil that important. But, economic rights, social rights, and culture are our choices to advance Indonesia such as access to land, education, health services, capital, and the rights to development are the most basic ways to fulfil the human rights (HAM). Indeed we still have a gross human rights (HAM) violation in the past, it is not easy to solve it because of legal complexity issues, evidence problem, and very long time. This problem should be completed after the incident happened but we still committed to resolving this violation, and to guarantee these rights, people must be supported by a fair legal system and a good law enforcement supremacy through institutional reform and strengthening of a good legal management system and the law-abiding culture that we are continually improving. Law must be enforced indiscriminately, strict law enforcement is a part of efforts to eradicate corruption that we were continually done through improving the system of government and work together to strengthen corruption eradication commission (KPK) and encourage synergy between corruption eradication commission (KPK), attorney, and the police. Last, we must be aware of the threat of terrorism, the government still continually work hard through strict and persuasive law enforcement through religious, economic and social development.

Candidate number 02 (Indonesia Wins)

I feel the indicators showed that we are in an unfavourable condition. In this world there are 200 countries, the characteristic of a successful country was that it must succeed in food, fuel, clean water, and also government institutions must be strong. Especially, law enforcement agencies, judges, prosecutors and the police must be superior, good, and should not doubt their integrity. How we face the law problems, corruption, human rights (HAM) and terrorism, we want to solve it from the basis of the problems. In our opinion we must have enough money to ensure the quality of all officer who have the authority to make decisions so that they would not be committed corruption and they will not affected.
We have to pay a very high salaries for judges, also prosecutors and police. Therefore, we must take over the economic resources of the Indonesian nation. We believe with a strong and clean institutions, we can enforce legal certainty. Law that did not selective, not sharp up but blunt down. A law that present certainty so it can open economic opportunities, create jobs too. We make sure the law presents justice for the society.

Because in my opinion, law is how this country can protect its people, the law must be able to provide certainty to investment and the business world, the law is not selective, etc.
Our future programs are to continue legal reform in totality. One of them is structuring regulations, eliminating that overlap and making quality regulations, benefiting the society, facilitating them, and etc.

- Response from candidate number 02 :
What we can do so that what we fear does not happen? Now there has been a thought that justice is only for strong and rich people. What is your response, if the important positions are left to active cadres from political parties?

- Response from candidate number 01 :
I do not think we should discriminate that a position must be given to professionals, in my opinion the most important position is a transparent recruitment process, referring to competence, integrity, and capacity. The most importantly the recruitment process should be honest.

Home Life And Campus Life

HOME LIFE AND CAMPUS LIFE

I live in pekandangan jaya with my brother, my parents with my other brothers and sister live in karangmalang. I have moved to pekandangan jaya since 2016 because me and my brother always fighting something that are not important. So, I follow my other brother whom live in pekandangan jaya, on 2017 my brother told me to work in his cloth shop so I will not ask my parents about money anymore. But, on 2018 I almost do not have time to go home because of my busy life on campus and because of the decline in the value of my education. I think I should start to raise my value become high more. I have studied at Wiralodra University, I am quite active in campus activities and I also try to active in study. And its sometime make me can not split my time. I always come home at night because of my activities and after that I should start to do my homework because there are only me and my brother in the house there is no woman. That’s why I always forget if I also have some task from the lecturers and made me confuse when the tasks become deadline. I will use my holiday or weekend to sleep and I can sleep all day long when I feel tired.

I try to be an active college student in ESA the organization of English student in wiraldora university, but I think I do not feel comfortable with the people there because of some reasons. I only active in ESA two or three months, after that I start to move and active in SENAT and I feel comfortable here. The people trust me to take some activities there, whenever I feel tired with the activities they will make me happy. But, now I feel tired to active in organization because sometimes I forgot with my purpose, my parents purpose why I can be studied in university. I think they want me to focus on my study and they want to see me pass my study on time. I do not want to make my parents sad just because of my activities on campus so I forgot about the study. I will start to try my best to reach the high score in my study from now.

Education In and Out of Campus Activities

The main reason for going to university is to get an academic education. But, personally I think that the social side of things and developing as a person is equally important. The good thing about university life is that you are left to your own devices, unlike school, where you're told what to do and how to do it. It's important to socialize and meet new friends. It takes some people longer than others. If a student has any problems, about anything, there's student counselling available at all universities, where they try and help out as much as possible. I've been a volunteer for our college Student Counselling Scheme for sometime now. I've found it very rewarding, not only with helping other college students through university life but also as an extra-curricular activity. I have started to join the extra-curricular when I feel I am not satisfied with education in campus from the lecturers. Because, I think someday in real life my academic education not too useful when in the society. And the reason why I can join the extra-curricular organization is I do not know how to join the WEDS, actually I really want to join WEDS because I want to improve my English skills. I think the lecturers will search and choose the college student who deserve to join the WEDS that’s why I only waiting the invitation and hoping that I deserve to join.

"be useful and care with the society around Abstract"

most people don't care about the circumstances around them now, not only the society there are also college student, teens and all of people are nor care about the circumstance. And as a college student we will always be questioned what we can do, and people only know the college students can do anything and when you can not do what they asked, they will blame you and say humbling in to you and asking what did you do in university before. After that you will be demeaned by the people. So, from now when we are still studying in the university, this is time for us to study how to socialize with people and study everything that can not reach in academic education. People who joined the extra organization also have a good public speaking because they learned from the organization about how to speak in front of society.

DISCUSSION

Indonesian people do not want to know what field that you take at university, what they knew are you can do anything. You are not student anymore, you are college student. If you only waste your time at campus and you do not care about the circumstance on campus and do nothing, you should think about it from now. What will you be tomorrow when you live around the society like what I explain before. Start from us, we should care about around us and learned what happen there and familiarize our self with society from now.
When we learned with some problem at campus and around us, I am sure we can through every trouble in our life in society. And we can get used to face society with not nervous, because we have learned the problem since we are student.

Conclusion

University is not only a place that can give me academic education, it is also have some extra-curricular and extra-organization that can give me education. As long as I get the positive thing, I will learn to get some knowledge there. But, I do not want to forget with my purpose why my parents send me to the university. I will do my best to study all of them.

Extra-Curricular and Extra-organization

I did explain about the advantages and disadvantages of join the organization, when you start to join the organization you will feel difficulty to dividing the time between academic education and extra education from the organization at the first. But, in my organization the people will tell me to finish the task from the lecturer and when tell me to go to the class when the study begin. It is not too bad to join the organization if I can learn anything, but sometimes when I feel tired I always forgot if I have so many tasks. It is depending on us.

I always remember the purpose when I started lazy to go to campus because of I feel tired of the extra activities. On the first time I have joined the organization, I feel so difficult when I can go home, when I can study, and when I can do my homework. But, now I have started to divide my time when I should do all of my job a little.

An active college student and inactive

Introduction
The college students who active at the internal organization and external organization are more progressive. They have more education that the other college students that did not get on academic education. They can speak in front of people more than they who did not join the extra organization. But, I did not mean if all of college education who are not joining the extra organization can not speak in front of people.
They also can be do that if they have confidence to do that. As long as I know people who can speak in front of people in university mostly people who joined the extra organization and when I ask why are they can speak without nervous, the answer is they learned at their extra organization on campus.

1. First differences between an active college student and inactive are public speaking :
a. An active college student : mostly of them are people who get used to speak in front of society, they can socialize with the other easily
b. An inactive college student : almost of them did not get used to speak in front of people so sometimes they do not feel confidence to speak and socialize with the other
2. Second differences between an active and inactive are knowledge :
a. An active college student : mostly of them are knowing every problem and have the extra advantages from their organization
b. An inactive college student : almost of them are not knowing about the problem in campus and they only have a knowledge from the academic education
3. Third differences between an active student and inactive are concern for the around :
a. An active college student : mostly of them are care against their around also their campus, because they know about the problem of the campus
b. An inactive college student : almost of them do not care against their around, even when they knew the problem they will say it but they did not fix the problem.

COLLEGE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, many colleges and universities have a broad educational mission: to develop the "whole student." On college campuses, extracurricular involvement is a key tool in this personal development. For the majority of college and university students, involvement in extracurricular activities plays an integral role in the collegiate experience. Students become involved in extracurricular activities not only for entertainment, social, and enjoyment purposes, but most important, to gain and improve skills. A wide and diversified range of extracurricular activities exists on U.S. campuses, meeting a variety of student interests.
Impact on Students
The importance of extracurricular activities on college campuses is well established.
The primary goals of extracurricular activities focus on the individual student level, the institutional level, and the broader community level. These activities exist to complement the university's academic curriculum and to augment the student's educational experience. According to a 1993 article by Alexander Astin, almost any type of student involvement in college positively affects student learning and development. Extracurricular activities provide a setting to become involved and to interact with other students, thus leading to increased learning and enhanced development. Specifically, a student's peer group is the most important source of influence on a student's academic and personal development. By identifying with a peer group, that group may influence a student's affective and cognitive development as well as his or her behavior.
As the development of the well-rounded individual is a principal goal of extracurricular activities on college and university campuses, the numerous experiences these activities afford positively impact students' emotional, intellectual, social, and inter-personal development.

The comment :
The organization on campus is not too bad because it help me to improve my skill and I can learn everything that I can not get from the academic education. And as long as I dont feel harmed I will stay on the organization, even if I can not join the WEDS at least I can learn and search some knowledge from the organization that I joined now.
I have got some knowledge from my organizatin, and I feel the knowledge did not get from my academic education. But, I do not want to forget my purpose why my parents send me to the university and I will do the best to prove to everyone if people who joined the organization also can get a high score of academic education.

Corruption and its solution in Indonesia

CORRUPTION AND ITS SOLUTION

Corruption, this word is very often heard by Indonesian society. From the word on our minds are about one thing that dirty, one thing that makes a lot of people miserable, something that causes anger in a society who feels disadvantaged, which is usually felt by poor people. Corruption is usually done by individuals, by someone who are greedy with wealth and ascedancy, someone who promised to promote people's welfare, who have been sworn in during his inauguration. In Indonesia, not a few candidates who promised and slogged would prosper the people before the people chose him, and even there are someone whose made promises, when he made corruption that he was willing to hang over on the monas. But, what do they give is only a false promise to deceive the society just to enrich themselves. Indonesia has ranked 14th in the list of the most corrupt countries in Asia and number 96 in the world. What I know is that Indonesia has abundant wealth and a large country, but Indonesia only gets the title of a consumptive country, whereas we know that Indonesia is capable to produce something consumptive to be exported and consumed for Indonesian people. Because it has a consumptive lifestyle, the desire arises in employee to enrich themselves quickly and instantly. Then it was born a greedy attitude where officials abused their authority and position. Law enforcement in Indonesia is very dilapidated. law enforcement does not work almost in all lines of life, both in government agencies and in social institutions because everything is measured by money. Ineffective supervision, and a light punishment for corruptors. because the corrupt perpetrators only received a mild punishment, thats why it does not cause a deterrent effect for those who do the corruption. The perpetrators of corruption should be punished according to the crimes that they have done. Japan, for example, they are who caught in corruption case will feel very embarrassed and they will end their own lives to make amends for what they have done, every corrupt case they have done that make the society feels miserable. Then in Vietnam, and Singapore especially in China, everyone who has been proven to have committed corruption more than one hundred thousand yuan or worth two hundred fourteen million rupiah can be punished to death, even the Chinese government is really serious about eradicating corruption in the country with prepare coffins for corruptors. And also In Saudi Arabia, the punishment for corruptors in Saudi Arabia are carried out in accordance with Islamic law, that is by being beheaded. Even in Malaysia, the Anti Corruption Act were applied, which further strengthens the law for corruptors, If the employee in Malaysia is proven to be corrupt, then the punishment is hanging law, so they will be hanged in front of the society of Malaysia. Indeed, the punishment sounds inhuman, but if it can produce a deterrent and fear effect to corruptors and it can eliminate corruption cases in Indonesia why do not we try? because the perpetrators of corruption also can take the lives of people with taking their rights. because what I know is that corruptors in Indonesia who are known to commit corruption are only punished with several years in prison and the prison they occupy is very different with the other people who are equally committing crimes. Even they have a place of imprisonment which can be considered very comfortable to live in because it has complete and luxurious facilities.
In my opinion education about corruption should have started at an early age so that children know how detrimental corruption is for all Indonesians people, give education for children to get used to being honest because children are so quick to record and capture what they see and they heard. That's when the role of parents can take the advantage of these conditions to feed them with positive values. One of it, teaches them to always being honest and keep them away from things that can harm the other.
