Kawarama Senju was a young ninja from the Senju clan and was a brother of Hashirama Senju.
Before the ninja village system and in the war the conception of the ninja villages, Kawarama was one of the several young ninja who were put on the battleground to fight and afterward would turn out to be another victim of the ever-waging fights. When a part of Kawarama's body was regain, it was hidden alongside other fallen friends, in a coffin imprinted with the Senju mark on it. His brothers Hashirama, Tobirama, and Itama Senju mourned the loss of their brother, with Hashirama claiming that Kawarama had died a pointless death and at such a youthful age. This very much angered their father Butsuma, who hit Hashirama and told him that Kawarama had died a true ninja.
